The PhotoSpring frame was designed to turn back on automatically after encountering a power outage. To do this, a PhotoSpring in the OFF state will go to the ON state when it receives power. So this means that if you try to turn PhotoSpring OFF while in its charging base or plugged directly in, it will turn on again immediately.
So how do you turn PhotoSpring off?
- If you want to save power, you can put PhotoSpring to sleep using the power button on the back. Just push the button a short time and it will go into standby. It will draw very little power.
- If you want to turn it off, unplug the AC Adapter from the charging base first. Then power PhotoSpring off. It will stay off until it receives power.
