To turn PhotoSpring off, press the power button on the back of the frame for 10 seconds.

Note 1: Early versions of the PhotoSpring frame (Serial numbers starting with 011 and 019) were designed to turn itself back on in the event of a power outage. So to turn it off you need take it off its charging stand first then press the power button on the back of the frame for 10 seconds. If you plug the power cord in or place PhotoSpring back on its charging stand, the unit will turn on by itself.
Note 2: Frame software versions before 159 had a Power button located in the Menu. We have removed this due to redundancy with the physical power button, lack of use and to make more space in the menu. |
If the frame won't turn off after pressing power for 10 seconds then press power for 30 seconds. This will force the frame to shut off.
