In rare cases users may encounter a Browser Not Supported error when trying to log into Google to backup or sync photos with the frame.
We are not sure why this happens but one solution is to do a hard reboot on your frame.
To do a hard reboot please find your model below and follow the instructions:
PhotoSpring 10 (serial numbers starting with 01 and 02) please do the following steps:
- Pick up your PhotoSpring out of the stand and hold it in your hands.
- With the screen on and showing a photo, press and hold the power button until the screen turns blank. When you first press the button, the photo will remain on the screen, then after about 20 seconds the screen will turn off.
- Release the power button.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Press the power button for 10 seconds or until you see the start up logo.
- Release the power button.
- Wait for the PhotoSpring start-up logo to disappear and see if your PhotoSpring resumes normal operation.
PhotoSpring 10 Standard (serial numbers starting with 03)
- With your PhotoSpring turned on and showing photos, use a paperclip to press the RESET button in the pinhole between the large USB port and the smaller microUSB USB port on the side panel. This is the bottommost pinhole on the side panel.
- Observe the screen turn off immediately after pressing the RESET button in the pinhole.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Disconnect the power to the PhotoSpring, and reconnect it. The PhotoSpring will turn on automatically after the power is reconnected.
PhotoSpring 10 Premium Portable (serial numbers starting with 04)
- With your PhotoSpring 10 Premium turned on, use a paperclip to press on the RESET button in the pinhole below the power button of your PhotoSpring.
- When you press on the RESET button, your PhotoSpring will turn off suddenly.
- Disconnect the power from your PhotoSpring, wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power and turn on your PhotoSpring.***
- Wait for your PhotoSpring to turn on and watch for normal operation.
*** Remember to wait for the battery charging icon and battery level indicator to disappear from the screen before pressing Power and that the first press will show the battery level indicator and press power a second time after the battery level indicator disappears.
