You can sort your playlist in one of the following ways:
- Date Taken <--> Reverse Date Taken
- Alphabetically <--> Reverse Alphabetically
- Date Arrived at the Frame <--> Reverse Date Arrived at the Frame
- Shuffle - this re-shuffles the photos randomly each time it starts the slideshow.
When we say "Date" we are referring to a timestamps down to the second.
To change your sort order:
- Go to the Playlist Screen.
- In the upper right hand corner tap on the Sort button
- This will open up a drop down menu where you can tap on a sorting method
After you tap your sorting method you will see the thumbnails rearrange.
A Note on Alphabetical Sorting
If you are sorting alphabetically please note that numbers don't behave as expected.
For example, if you named your photos 1.jpg, 2.jpg....20.jpg the order would not be in numbered order or 1, 2,3,4 etc....
Instead you'd get the following (with the numbers in red appearing out of order):
1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,20, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9
So to make this work you'd need to number your photos with something like 001.jpg, 002.jpg....020.jpg:
This would give you the result you expect:
001, 002, 003, 004.....010, 011, 012.... 020
Custom Sorting
Unfortunately the frame does not allow for custom sorting. The only sort methods are the ones listed on the playlist screen above.
However, it is possible to send photos in a certain order and then use Arrival Time sorting to do a custom sort.
Here are the steps:
1. Set the sorting method to Arrival Time - either oldest first of newest first.
2. Go to my.photospring.com and log into your account
3. Click on Send photos.
4. Click the checkbox of the frame you want to send photos to
5. Specify an album name for the photos you are about to send. Since you are sending in a customer order we suggest you add an album name. See below:
6. In the next screen add your photos.
7. One the photos are added, you can drag and drop them into the order you want to send them.

8. The photos should arrive on the frame and be sorted in the same order you sent them.
