Turning off Auto Uploading of Photos

If you noticed that your frame is downloading photos that are yours (or a friends) but don't remember intentionally uploading the photos to the frame - you may have inadvertently setup auto uploading to your frame from either your smart phone or computer. The following explains how to stop this.

First, determine where your photos are coming from.

  • Only users with PhotoSpring's smartphone app setup (Android or iPhone device) can possibly get automatic uploads of photos from their phone.
  • Only users with PhotoSpring's computer app setup (for PC or MAC) can possibly get automatic uploads of photos from their computer.

If you have both the computer and smartphone apps setup, then you will need to look at both devices to see if one of them is setup to upload photos automatically. Otherwise, proceed with the proper device instructions below.
